You'll either love this or hate it. This is a fragrance from another era which is about as big of news as what happened to the Hindenburg. I wear my share of fragrances from the 70s and 80s but the big issue I have with this one is the green notes in this take from that vanilla and lavender we're promised and they praise on the website. On a very warm day this is going to smell like a moldy, stinky basement in a home that someone tried to cover any bad odors with lavender and vanilla scented bathroom sprays. At most I put this on before bed and maybe late night walks with the dog. I can't see anyone under 50 wearing this, I can see most kids being shown this would ask to scrub this off or all the screwed up faces from potential customers if this was sprayed on by a person in a perfume store in person in North America. A minimalistic masterpiece. Pour un Homme de Caron was a pioneering scent of gender interplay, that remains timeless and thankfully, an ambiguous male signature.
