The aroma is excellent, at the start it is very fresh, green, herbal, it has a coniferous quality, as it smells like pine, a little reminiscent of shaving foam.

This one and Artisan Pure are my two favs from the Artisan line; but whereas that one is more of a petitgrain soap, Blu is more like the masculine cousin of 4711 or ADP's Colonia - far more citrusy with a massive clary sage and a touch of pine. It probably should've been called Artisan Green. Although it does have a bit of soapiness, Artisan Acqua effectively takes this DNA and turns it back into soap. None of them last more than 4-5 hours on me, but that's to be expected with an aromatic freshie. Great versatile scent that harkens back to the 70s-90s era. Unfortunate that it got discontinued.

If you're looking for a great different option for summer, this is one. Original, 6h lasting and versatile.
