This has barely anything to do with the original La Yuqawam. Perhaps a touch of smokiness but they complement each other well enough to be in the same series. This is much easier to wear in my opinion. How this is different is that it goes in an old school direction such Polo Green or a modern fragrance such as issey Miyake - Nuit D'Issey EDT if you like either then this is for you. The scent starts off with this sour tangerine note, imagine you just sliced one open and the juice is going everywhere. Then it progresses into this feeling of it being night time, you're walking through a field at night, it's raining and you can smell the grass and the wet, earthy soil. There's some spiciness that certainly make this fragrance have that light bit of blue on the bottle and packaging. With a wild imagination you may detect a bit of Irish Spring soap. Longevity and projection are what you'd expect on a La Yuqawam. I regret not buying this sooner.

This fragrance is good for me but is difficult for other people . A lot of amber and sometimes I put another layer from others perfume. Try to smell it before you buy it
