Jubilation XXV is a masterpiece of perfumery for those who enjoy a taste of the exotic. My only criticism would be with regard to performance. Longevity isn't an issue but projection is minimal. Personally I don't get the fruity [blackberry] opening so many claim to experience. Rather it is an alluring cocktail of oud and incense. It imparts a sense of mystery that calls to mind Bogie and Indiana Jones.

This exotic offering is heavily incense-based. It imparts a sense of mystery - something you might expect to pick up on Indiana Jones' leather jacket.. Strangely for an Amouage release it really needs to be over-sprayed, as projection is minimal and longevity is so-so. It is however sublimely blended making the identification of individual component notes difficult. Some compelling woody floral notes reveal themselves in the dry-down. Overall I love the essential character of Jubilation XXV, but lament its uninspiring performance.

This is a wonderful and beautiful fragrance from a one of the best niche houses. I got it for the best price that was available at the time. I only wish the shipping didn't cost as much as it does but it was packaged beautifully and safely.
