The scent of a well-groomed man.

Strong soapy-cognac patchouli, a magnificent aroma in its monumentality. Beautiful patchouli.

Noir Patchouli

In the same family as "1740 Marquis de Sade" -- dark, masculine, dramatic, heavy -- but swaps out the tobacco / ashtray notes for florals and patchouli. While I sold my bottle of 1740 shortly after buying it, I still admired it, and would recommend it as an excellent fragrance for the right person. On the other hand, Noir Patchouli, while interesting, seems to me like a not entirely successful experiment.
