If you don't like the opening to this fragrance, try something else in the store, it's not improving significantly. At best I can give this a 2.5 / 5. I couldn't care less what this is cloning. I saw the notes on fragrantica and like the perfumers work. That was it. This is burnt cookies in the worst possible way. The burnt, smoky cedar is what dominates this fragrance. It's EXTREMELY middle eastern smelling. I like certain middle eastern fragrances but this one is too much. The vanilla slowly creeps in about 30 minutes to an hour later to make this somewhat enjoyable but besides that I can count how many times I've worn this outside on one hand. I mostly just use this before bed to give my other fragrances I like a break. Unless you want a really smoky fragrance with some spices this isn't for you.

Smells like campfire smoke. I don’t get vanilla at all. This is masculine and way over hyped imo. Not for me

Definitely more spicy than a vanilla. Strong, smokey, and spice forward, complex. Never tried Baby Cat, so I can't speak to the comparisons, but I think this will be amazing paired with a sweet basic vanilla, even Warm Vanilla Sugar lol just to add some depth and complexity. If you're expecting it to be sweet, you will be thrown off/disappointed. Also the spray nozzle is amazing.
