Spicebomb Extreme Viktor&Rolf - It smells familiar…

When the first time I tried this on in the morning, my nose picked up a resemblance or Dior Homme Intense combined with JP Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum. It opened somewhat sweet. It has quite a projection, and it will have a good longevity. It is a strong scent and probably more appropriate to wear in the colder season.

Best winter fragrance of all time

Title speaks for itself, I have some of the best winter fragrances money can buy and none of them compare to what this does for the money. It's a sophisticated dark and woody vanilla that is perfect for people who want that note without it being too gourmand and sweet which I guess is seen as more feminine.

Don't follow the hype sample it first

I have around 30 perfumes in my collection, including oud-based ones that aren’t mass-pleasing like Amouage Interlude. But with Spicebomb Extreme, I just can’t connect. To me, it smells like a spicy mess and not pleasant at all. I blind-bought it because of the hype, so make sure to sample before buying.

almost perfect

Firstly it's very common for the perfume to leak in the box. This is due to the poorly designed cap. The bonus to this of course is that the perfume comes pre-aged (macerated) which means it'll be as strong as the internet promises it is. However, considering this isn't a bargain bin fragrance this is inexcusable. Scent wise you'll either love this or hate it due to the cumin (caraway seeds). I wish they either dialed it back or didn't use it at all. It can smell like someone cooking food from the middle east at times. However, this is a more masculine take on One Million (EDT) with some added rum and a stronger dose of leather. The age is a touch more grown up and more masculine. I find this one is only good in the cooler parts of the year and more tougher to wear than the original. You've REALLY got to be in the mood to wear this. Of course this is a room filler and will last an easy 12 hours but I'd rather reapply the original most days instead of putting up with the cumin spice. Would I buy this again? No, it's really nice but one bottle should last me a lifetime.
