was a blind buy after reading some great reviews. Not what I expected. Do not detect any chestnut or whip cream but it is synthetically sweet with a tone of sandalwood. It's non offensive and an ok every day fall scent. Would not repurchase but will use it up. It's ok for the price but it's not a must have.

This is a gorgeous lactonic gourmand leaning fragrance. I love that there is no fruit to be found in this scent. It’s nutty at the heart, sometimes expressing as a roasted chestnut and at others a fresh shiny shell. It’s as though the whipped cream and soft chestnut were whipped together to make a slightly sweet but also savoury pastry cream. This is not childish or gooey— it’s actually quite sophisticated.The base of sandalwood and vanilla create the perfect ending to a very enigmatic fragrance. This will always be in my collection. Creamy sandalwood scent . I Don't smell the chestnut. There's a screechy synthetic smell to it that is awful in the background.
